There was a shareholder meeting going on in the Carlson Group conference room. Cedric was listening without showing much interest. He unlocked his cell phone screen and looked at the stock market.

He raised his brows slightly when he saw a certain set of numbers. It had descended to the bottom limit once more.

“Mrs. Carlson, a shareholders’ meeting is being held inside. You can’t go in.”

There was a commotion outside the door. Cedric locked his cell phone and grinned unknowingly as he glanced at the door of the conference room.

“I’m here to attend the shareholders’ meeting.” Sophie’s voice sounded at the same time, then the door of the conference room was pushed open by her secretary, who was there with her.
