Sophie felt angry and ashamed. After taking a quick look at everyone who was still in shock, she declared, “The meeting is dismissed.”

She had already achieved her purpose in coming to Carlson Group today.

“Miss, I’ve already recorded the audio as you instructed.” Linda could not hide her excitement when she came out of the conference room. Linda was of the impression that Luxford Group had suffered a devastating blow today, but she did not expect that Sophie had actually acquired the majority of Carlson Group’s shares. “Well, send it to the media and let them cover this story. Gather all available funds and go to several banks that we’ve worked with before to seize the opportunity to buy back Luxford Group’s shares.”
