I was standing at the back of the mansion with Tyler at the other end where he could be hardly seen.

“Do you think she’s going to come?” I turned to ask Tyler at the same time looking to see if there was any sign of her.

“She is going to show up trust me. She wouldn’t want to piss Gonzalez up” he replies leaning against the hard wall while I just nodded still, hoping for her to show up. Soon enough, I sighted her walking behind the maid who soon stopped leading the way. Urging her to move forward to where I was standing

“Are you sure he is there?” I heard her ask the maid.

“Yes ma’am” she replied and hurried away.

“Talk to her, let her hear your voice or better still step out of this dark place cause she looks so scared to make any move” Tyler suggested.

I cleared my throat sharply before taking one step out of where I stood before.

“Come on Serena it’s safe” I stated fully stepping into light for her to see me. She took some steps backward in fear.
