Faye's Point of View.

"NO!" I shouted, pulling back my hand as I whimpered in fear, while my voice trembled. I could feel the edge of my eyes getting wetter and wetter.

"Don't you dare," blew Damion. I hid behind him, and he's supporting it with his hand— covering me from the danger.

"Decide quickly. Whether you come with me or not, spit your decision right now. Your captors are about to come and fetch you," the prison guard snarled.

When I look at him, he wasn't blinking. His straight eyes are sharply gazing upon Damion. Even his fist are crunching. I don't know why he's acting like this. Maybe my guts failed me this time. Such a shame that I couldn't uncover his hidden thoughts behind those eyes.

"We'll escape on our own," Damion finally responded after a long pause.
