48 HOURS LATER

*Fiorella

I was sitting in the living room reading a book. Two days ago, I saw Lorenzo after the scene we had. I thanked God that I didn't see them anymore for at least two days. I was able to be calm, but obviously, that couldn't last.

I hadn't even been sitting down to relax for 5 minutes when my father called me firmly, "Fiorella, in my office now!"

His voice was different; gone was that concerned father's tone. Everything around me was changing so fast that I was having too much trouble catching up with every event in this house.

As I walked in, I noticed my father sitting in his desk chair and Lorenzo, who I don't remember seeing, arrive at any time.

Fabrizio was sitting on the other side, looking at Lorenzo with a sick hatred; I knew that sooner or later, this would bring trouble, and I just hoped I would not be near or in the middle of these two.
