Chapter 28: You Died

Ryder's Pov:

"Thank you, detective, it's good to have you on our side," I say while shutting the door since it had been 24 hours since we saw the twins and Rose last, my arms are folded as Reece, Parker, Wayne and I are sitting in the room

"Look Reece do you really know who Jace is?" I questioned him, and he nodded his head slightly "I have an idea" He said

"Jace is a mafia king, to put it bluntly," I say truthfully

Reece on the other hand found it hilarious "Your joking" he replies while looking at our faces and continues "And how do you know this?"

I look at Parker and Wayne "Because we are in a gang too" he stood up and looked at Wayne "You mean you are too that's why you had all those connections?" Wayne nodded guiltily

"How do you know Jace?" He asks I swallow looking guilty and he could sense it

"Ryder don't ..." Wayne objects while shaking his head he knew what I wanted to do and it was going to come out eventually

"Reece... I kill-" I was cut off by a knock at the door
