XANDRIA'S POV

"Come on, Maria! You can do better than a front walkover!" I yell from across the gym. I move to floor.

It is my best area, just like my mother. Maria is best at beam, but I don't understand why! Beam sucks for me not because I have bad balance, but because it is uncomfortable beneath my feet. It's a hard surface to land on resulting in bad joints for me.

I pull my spanks up tight and let my long shirt flow over them, not caring if anyone thought I wasn't wearing any pants. Eh, who cares. I looked over to Marcus and Christian who were monitoring us for my mom since she has a meeting today for the new elites.

Tryouts at least.

I breathe in like Mom taught me and let my feet carry me forward. I flipped through the air, enjoying the feeling of my legs in the air. I planted my feet down firmly, thankfully making a nearly perfect landing. Some claps from Marcus and Christian were audiable.

I turned and there was the girl, looking lovingly up at me like Xandria once did, but more innocent.

    XANDRIA'S POVI looked up to Jonathan, smiling as he smiled back down at me. Maria was staring at us, her lipstick smeared slightly around her lips due to the drinks she's downed. "Well Missy... Liam won't like this..."She let out a hiccup and gave us a dazed look. Jonathan's eyes narrowed when Maria mentioned Liam. "Liam is a guy I met today that gave me some answers, Jonathan. Alpha Liam is no threat," I say, releasing him from my grip. Jonathan smiled and pecked me on the cheek. "If you say he's nothing, I trust you," he said softly before leaving to Uncle Austin's side. I turned back to Maria, rolling my eyes at her while she made kissy faces at the man she took beer from. The man didn't even looks disgusted at her as she tried to flirt. I stood between them, being the good friend I am. "Sorry sir, she's drunk and already has a mate," I say, apologizing sweetly."Well, lady, I don't mind. She can flirt with me all she wants. Who are you to tell me she can't rub off on me?

    XANDRIA'S POVMaria and I walked out of the house like queens. Maria wore a complex blue and silver dress with silver makeup and shoes. Of course, I like things way more simple. I hate dressing up so much that I would rather go in sweatpants and a baggy shirt- well, to be honest, I would love to go around in something like that everyday, but I have a pack to lead. I decided to wear a peach dress with a cut on the side. My heels were the same color with natural makeup and dark eyeliner. My violet eyes still glowed, giving me the effect that my eye area was my best beauty asset. We walked out confidently, meeting the rest of the Blood Moon Pack right outside the guest houses to walk a couple blocks down to the gathering. It's been three days since I had last seen him, and I have resorted to smelling the clothes he left behind that night, though they barely have his own scent anymore.
