Maria stopped crying some hours ago and I helped her brush her hair. She had told me she wanted like my style of hair and I gladly did it for her. But she won't stop asking me to take her along with me. I don't know how I was going to do that. I sat her down and made her face me. She smiled and I noticed that she had lost two of her upper front teeth.

She was cute and pretty tho with her almond eyes.

"Will you take me with you?"

"Please. I don't want to stay here anymore." She emphasized.

When I was about to talk, my phone rang.

I checked the caller ID and it was him, Aiden.

Why was he calling at this time of the day?

I picked it up. "What is it?" I asked.

"Look, I know we started on the wrong foot. Where are you now?" I asked.

"What does it matter to you where I am?" I asked.

"If you don't want to tell me, then look behind you."

He said and I turned back just to see him right behind me. I got scared for a while. How does he even know where I was? I rubbed my forehead.
