Since this was becoming something like a bathroom face-off, I turned my head and faced her. Convincing her that my next words were nothing but the truth will be easier if I'm looking directly at her.
I'm trying not to falter in my features or let my lips quiver with fright since those two emotions were the only thing I felt.
Eva could either be messing with her words or truly be aware of what happened.
The latter is a catastrophe.
I want to believe it's the former, if I was innocent it's only logical to deny all allegations. If she's tripping, I'll see it in her face and drop it down on her so hard she won't recover.
