CHAPTER 12 The Night Before

　　Damon's POV

　　-The night before-

　　I carry Sarah to the exit ignoring some prying eyes that are interested only in Tenner’s new toy. That’s how they view her and it makes me want to send them all to hell! Yet I do some good job in ignoring them until we get into our limousine. The driver starts the car silently while I am sitting across my father with this sleeping beauty in my arms.

　　I just can’t seem to let her go! Instead, I pull her closer to my chest, sharing some of my heat with her freezing body just hoping that she will feel safe even in her unconscious sleep. Cause God knows what I am feeling right now! Holding her, looking at her like she is a sleeping angel. Fuck! Stop having these thoughts, Damon!
