Chapter Six [The modified schemes]

Chapter Six [ The modified schemes]

Now that Nancy is no longer in charge of the native tribal group community, Jason and Nancy are ready to execute their plan to visit there. Jason gave Nancy something from his bag pack before she put on her jacket.

“Why is this needed?” She looks into it and asks Jason with curiosity.

Jason gave the order, "You should put on that lady's dress first before we proceed on our voyage."

"Where did you obtain that dress for a lady, honey?” Nancy asks a question.

It was carried by the flowing fresh water down the streams as I was fishing for shrimp and crabs. I took it and dried it because it still looked brand-new and lovely, and I kept it.”

Jason clarifies as Nancy laughs out loud once more, thinking that it is her dress that she left a week earlier. "Perhaps it was carried by a strong current when I left it since I was in a rush at the time," Nancy muses, unable to tell him that the dress is hers.

Jason assured her, "It will fit you without a doubt, and you will look wonderful once you wear it."

“But before you put it on, I want you to have this skin-repelling lotion. Come on, honey." Jason swiftly grabbed her and unwrapped her once more to apply the skin lotion to her entire body.

Nancy cut him off, saying, "Ah, I can do it myself, honey.”

"Of course, you can do it, but I'd like to assist you because applying it to your back will be challenging for you. Like this! "As Jason gently massages Nancy's body, she feels relieved and relaxed.

Jason reassures Nancy, who is enjoying the massage so much that she almost falls asleep again. Nancy then lays flat on the plastic mat while he continues to give her a massage.

After a while, Nancy slept off once more, and Jason decided to lie down beside her to rest. He was trying to recall the scene when Nancy questioned him, and he was also attempting to recall the events when the farmers fought.

“What are you contemplating? Like you did to me, I likewise enjoy slathering lotion all over your body. “Nancy progressively rises to assume control of him.

"Let's go! She carefully unwrapped him, revealing a handsome, stunning man's body in front of her. It was her first time seeing such an admirable, muscular man's body. She immediately felt the want to touch his nude body as he allowed her to apply the lotion.

I love you, honey," Nancy whispers while kissing him in a way that is audible to him.

” Really?”  Jason smiles and asks quickly,

He swiftly grabbed her and said, "I heard it," as they both erupted in passionate love for one another.

” Wait!” Nancy responded, stating,

"We haven't wed yet."

Jason says, "We've already done it. Let's enjoy it while we are still together. We can get married anytime when we go together in the city."

“But I'm not quite ready. I should first finish my law degree,” Nancy says.

“What about your twin sister?” Jason brings up his identical sister again, which causes Nancy to pause.

She quickly encircles him in her full arms so that he can stop talking about his twin sister. She gives him a warm kiss on the lips till they both feel satisfied at that moment, thinking, "He almost caught me. I must be very careful.”

The two are appropriately dressed, and Nancy is now wearing a dress of her own. Jason observes her with interest.

Jason's emotional insecurity is expressed when he says, "You look so beautiful. I like to see you wearing a dress, honey, when we are together. But you can turn to your tough guy image when we go on the battles and when you are not with me. I don't like other men to see you with such kind of dress because they will surely grab you away from me. I will be jealous."

As Nancy tries to understand what he means, she says, "Meaning.

You're a jealous guy, right?”

Nancy asks once more.

Jason openly admits, "I am a jealous guy because I love you and I don't want to ever lose you in my life. “Jason expresses adding,

"I ask that you, honey, keep your word to me.” Nancy says, "I am a one-man woman. You must bear it in your mind. "When she tells what Jason is extremely pleased with, he gives her a passionate kiss as if there won't be any more time or space for them to be apart, but every minute is delightful and filled with joy when they are together.

It has been their second day since they parted ways with Nancy's parents, and she is still lingering while Jason kisses her.

She tries to untie him while saying,

"Honey, wait a minute." She then grabs her smartphone to see whether there is a strong enough signal to reach Mr. Peng.

"Hello, Mr. Peng. How are my parents doing right now?"Nancy enquires.

The explanation from Mr. Peng made Nancy feel at ease because she trusted him and the other employees of the Hacienda. "They are still here in the hospital. The doctor is still giving both of them a dextrose that can increase their strength. Sooner or later, they can go home. The doctor will just prescribe them medicine and additional health instructions for fast recovery."

“Okay, Mr. Peng. I entrusted my parents to your care. I suggest that you hire a private caregiver for my parents so that they can receive proper care at all times. I will check it when I return.”  Nancy said to Mr. Peng as she slowly turned off her phone and took a deep breath. Jason was encircling her with his full arms. The couple continued to make love inside the tent on

Nancy suddenly said to Jason, "I'm already hungry. We haven't eaten since yesterday. How can we carry out our plan if we lose our energy, honey?”

"Don't worry. I have some leftovers here," Jason assured Nancy as he removed his bag. Jason then handed Nancy a package of biscuits, along with some juice and milk.

As they share it, Jason invites her girlfriend, saying, "I purchased them last week and it's nice it's still good. Come now and let us eat." He smiles as he does so.

Nancy thinks, smiling, "You never know that this clothing is mine."

After an hour, the pair is slowly descending the rope and walking along the narrow, overgrown trail that leads to their designated planning area.

Jason remarks as he looks through his binoculars from the top of the mountain, "It's not that far."

“They have planted vegetables and legumes around their nipa hut and houses are not far apart but in rows, allowing them to hear each other's conversations. They do not have comfort rooms but instead just sneak in under the crowded shrubs to relieve themselves.” Jason explains as Nancy took his binoculars to look at them. "Look at them, honey. They are already awakened and started to feed their poultry while the head of the family is proceeding to the green pastures for their working animals. “Jason demonstrated to Nancy with his binoculars.

Jason explains the position to Nancy while turning to face her with a pair of binoculars and pointing to the west side. "And attempt to turn your searches to those mountain people around over the mountain ranges behind those terrains."

Nancy added, extending her gaze more toward the northwest mountain slopes, "I can't see them here."

"They are there, in a little, nearly-decrepit nipa hut. Where do they acquire their food now?” Nancy asks a question.

“They have livestock as well, but when the northwest monsoon blows carrying bad weather, it brings them pests that decimate their poultry. They lack supplies of vitamins and anti-pests, which is why they turned into thieves and robbers in your hacienda. They starve and lost their farm crops not only as a result of storms and floods, but also as a result of predators like salamanders, snakes, hawks, and many others that killed their livestock.”Jason explains.

"How did you know that it was the root of their misery? "Nancy asks, mocking Jason.

” Of course, I can identify their agony as I observed them from here when I saw them digging to bury their dead livestock. They usually run after the predators until that forest land . They even destroyed their nests and killed all the snakes. But the more they do it, the more they pissed off the farmers.”

Jason further explains.

"How can we assist them? "Nancy enquires.

“We should begin to live with them as farmers and gradually strive to do what is best to teach them properly how to live and survive on their own. That's what you have to research once we have gathered and collected the genuine evidence by facts not just via observations," Jason said.

“I should be returning to the city to pursue my law degree, honey. That will take a very long time to do." Nancy started to respond to Jason's proposition as she stared at him carefully and realized what his true intentions were.

Nancy says, "I suppose you just wanted me to stick around with you." Her mind starts to work in response to Jason's attempts to hold her back. She holds back her laughter as she looks into his eyes.

"What makes you look at me in that way? "Smiling, Jason questions Nancy.

“Why don't you stay with them and instruct them on how to live sensibly so they don't abuse the Farmers in my hacienda?” Jason finds Nancy to be straightforward.

“Are you going to violate our agreement at this time?” Jason asks Nancy as they proceed cautiously with their plan to visit the tribes.

"I won't abandon you. Still not.” As the duo sees the sun is getting strong to their skin because Nancy is already turning pinkish while in the sunlight so early in the morning, Nancy responds,

"I am still thinking of how can I help them.

He holds her hands and gently pinches them as he tries to say something that he can hardly utter because he knows well that Nancy is a woman who cannot easily be convinced by ordinary or worse events under her. They are having a serious conversation about their relationship and their future. Jason is determined to make her his wife and the mother of his children, but Nancy has other goals to reach. It makes him confused now.

“Because they all appear young, modern people with an interest in mountain climbing, and because they are carrying large bag packs and wearing light jackets, rubber shoes, and mountain emergency kits and stuffed, Nancy and Jason assumed that the group was a group of mountaineers from the town proper as they slowly climbed for an adventure.

"What's the deal, young people?” As they get closer, Jason asks.

One man responded, "We just wanted to explore here, Sir, Ma'am."

"Well, at least you know what you are doing. You might encounter dangerous situations, and you seem all set to face it here," Jason said as he handed Nancy the keys to carry out their plan and leave the group behind. They noticed that they were moving in the same general direction as them so they let them walk in front.

Nancy became intrigued by the group, so she held Jason's arms and encouraged him to follow the young people, who were made up of five males and five females between the ages of 16 and 18. The group was behind the two when they noticed it taking the path in the direction leading to the mountain people area.

"Guys, where do you think you're heading right now?” Jason asks the group a question.

"Sir, we shall be seeing our friends who live in those mountain ranges.”

"Can we accompany you? We'd also like to visit that location.”

Nancy walks up as she touches Jason, showing him with her body language that she'd like to try meeting the locals in the mountains.

"Can we alter our strategy?” Jason simply nodded in response to her question. They walked hand in hand.

“Do they recognize you?”

Nancy queries Jason.

“Not exactly. They might believe that we are a part of the group.” Jason pondered, but Nancy had a different opinion, believing that this youthful bunch might betray them. Jason could tell that she agreed with her, as she pinched his hands while they were walking together.

Nancy advised, "We should make friends with them so that they can include us as belonging to them.”

” How? "Jason asks her.

“We are taller than them, but let's tell them that we are also mountain climbers from the city since our age bracket is near and we could be younger than them.”

Nancy advises this because Jason already perceives the risk in her plan. He is aware of how drastic and notorious the mountain people are, and that they might become intrigued by Nancy because she is a young, attractive woman wearing lady's clothing.

"Hey, honey. Look at yourself. The people waiting for us there are not friends, but adversaries. Don't you anticipate that the men would get attracted to you and I am concerned that we will run into difficulties if we walk on?" Jason advised. Nancy made a similar observation.

Nancy smiles as she commands the group's attention, "I must change my clothing first. Try to play with them while I am doing it behind the tree."

Hey guys, I just need to change my clothes because I am becoming sunburned and my dress is getting wet from sweating. We decided to join your group in going mountain climbing.

The group switches over to look around. One of them has smaller binoculars that hardly can spot distant objects. He likes to try Jason first, and the group realizes that the couple can be a good companion in their journey. Nancy says as Jason uses his binoculars to show them the lovely scenery he has been enjoying in that place.

"Okay, are you done?" Nancy immediately enters the scene sporting dark eyeglasses and a strong guy look that the group finds difficult to identify.

“You still resemble your twin sister very much,” Jason thought. "Now you might be different and the mountain people will not recognize that you are that one."

Jason still questions whether Nancy is the same as her twin sister and responds, "That can hardly distinguish between us. What do you think.”? Nancy says.

He said, "Never mind. Anyhow, you never change as my wife, honey. Whatever your outlook, I still love you. "Jason smiles as the group comments on how attractive Nancy is despite wearing Jason's attire as a tough guy.
