Jessica is a Vampire

Derek's eyes widened in shock at the news of Charlotte's pregnancy. He stood there for a moment, processing the information, his mind racing with emotions. The room seemed to close in around him, the air thick with tension and uncertainty.

"Pregnant... with my child?" Derek finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. The words felt foreign and heavy in his mouth, a reality he wasn't prepared to face.

“Yes, brother! Whatever you are doing, you have to make it quick!” Rebecca's voice was urgent, pulling him back to the present. He could see the worry etched on her face

“I….I…” Derek stammered, opening and closing his mouth like a fish, short of words. His thoughts were a chaotic mess. How would Charlotte have felt when he said those hurtful words to her? What would he do now? Would he tell her to wait for him so she wouldn’t feel hurt? Or should he let things play out naturally until all this was over? She must hate him now.
