I woke up to my phone vibrating from where it sat, face down on the nightstand.
“Turn it off, Mak,” Kalil mumbled, voice deep with sleep. His eyes were still closed and one arm draped over my side. I grabbed the phone and said hello.
“Are you still a virgin?” Jaida shouted.
Wow. I heard lots of noise in the background and figured she must be at the airport already. We were supposed to have breakfast before she left.
