CHAPTER CCXCVI: PALPITATION
Angela's POV
Lucifer was just staring at me, as if he was trying to memorize my face. My heart was beating so loud, I blinked while preventing myself from breathing. "Y-Young Master..?"
"H-Huh?" that's when he finally came back to his senses. He let go of me and averted his gaze. "I-I'm sorry..."
"I-It's alright. Should we head to the hotel now?"
He nodded. "Okay."
He finally started walking, so I followed him. We were so quiet, and he even walked me to our room. "G-Good Night, Young Master..."
"Good Night, Belle. Go on inside now."
"O-Okay..."
I glanced at him once more before I finally went inside our room. He smiled, and I closed the door. I couldn't help but smile. I was about to walk towards our poster bed when Mayang suddenly appeared in front of me, holding a flashlight in her hand. "And what did I just see? Who's that handsome guy who just walked you here?"
"H-Have you been there for a long time? You scared me, Mayang."
