CHAPTER TEN: BOOK THREE

KAYDEN’s POV,

Before she hit the ground, I was quick to catch her. Thank the goddess she didn’t fall to the ground. I have been watching her since this morning and I noticed how pale she looked. She wasn’t alright but she is pretending to be. Did he hurt her? Did that bastard lay a hand on her? I am going to make sure he regrets it for the rest of his life if he dared to even hurt her in any way.

Before anyone can say anything, I gather her in my arms and dash for the sickbay that has been set up. Since we are filming a survival movie, qualified doctors and nurses were all made available at the set and I have never been more glad to have them here.

I quickly place the unconscious Ayana on the bed while the doctors and nurses get to work, her assistant rushes into the room, an apprehensive look on her face,

“Will she be okay?” She asks no one in particular.

“Was she sick?”

“She was fine until I went to her house this morning. Her fiancé told her not to come for the shoot but she said
