Thornprincess.Good morning my beautiful readers. I am so sorry this chapter came late. Honestly, I didn't mean to delay nor go back on my promise. It's just that school and also lack of electricity. My promise still stands. I will do a mass release of two or three chapters this week. Be expecting and thank you all for being patient. Also, I would love to hear you guy's thoughts on this chapter. CHAPTER TWELVE.DAWN'S POV.My lips quivered, a violent shiver wracking through my body, as though a tub of icy water had been poured over me. ' Why didn't I just look where I was going?' CHAPTER THIRTEEN. DAWN'S POV CONTINUES. Devon? His name was Devon. What a charming name. I didn't want to let go of this letter in my hand, even though I was actually meant to. " Give it to me pretty" The playboy who had been addressed as Devon nudged with a gentle tone which I found genuinely baffling. He seemed like the rough type so I expected him to get fed up with my hesitation and just yank the note out of my hand. Unquestionably, he could do so with ease but it seemed like he wanted to toy with me a little further. Still, I clung tightly to the paper, my gaze unflinchingly fixed on it. The feel of Devon's warm hands brushing against mine made my skin tingle. My heart began to flutter, my breath pausing in my throat. CHAPTER FOURTEEN. DAWN'S POV CONTINUES. I sluggishly dragged my feet towards my hostel, enduring the numbness that had engulfed the entirety of my body, and still struggling to grapple with everything that had come to my realization. I couldn't believe that despite everything I had done for them, they still hadn't accepted me as one of theirs. 'Am I really that worthless?' I pondered, engulfed in emotional anguish, tears welling up around my eyes. 'I mean if they knew they didn't want me, why would they both come to me to apologize in the first place?' CHAPTER FIFTEEN. DAWN'S POV CONTINUES. “ Why?” I asked, heading towards her. My palms were sweaty, my stomach twisting into knots as I did my best to keep myself from bursting into tears again. I wanted to be strong for once, I wanted to prove I wasn't a weakling to them all but who was I kidding? A shiver ran down my spine as Charlie narrowed her gaze to me, her mocking expression abruptly contorting into a threatening glare. I reared back in shock, my eyes widening— Since the very first day we met, she had never shot me such a disdainful look. I could recall her expressions of laughter, sadness, compassion, pity... but never a glare— and such a condescending one at that. Atleast not towards me, so why now? I was curious as to what her reason for flashing at me such a hateful look was, and quite sad, knowing damn well it would invariably be hurtful and unfavourable towards me. CHAPTER FIFTEEN. DAWN S POV. Forcefully, my face swung the opposite way, my neck twisting painfully, seemingly almost snapping from the immense force of Scarlett's punch. My hands clenched, and unconsciously, I began to shiver, my legs wobbling like jelly. Fear engulfed me instantly. Slowly, I raised my gaze towards my assailant, who glared back at me, her eyes brimming with intense hatred. For the first time ever since I arrived at this school, I had been physically assaulted. 'was this bullying going to get worse?' I wondered with a pounding heart. I felt useless and disgusted with myself, knowing even though things would eventually turn out as I feared, I was too weak to go against them and put an end to their antics. " Know your place bitch or I'll put you in it." Scarlett threatened angrily, her beautiful face scrunched up into a horrible frown, that made her look like the she-devil she indeed was. Inadvertently, I shrunk back, intimidated and scared to my marrow.

WHERE IS DAWN? DERRICK'S POV. As we walked to the classroom, we all couldn't help but feel surprised by the fearfulness of that peasant girl. Yes, Dawn— her name was Dawn. She still had not come to us to begin her duties. Our assignments were still with her, and we had to submit this morning. We walked to the classroom, the general one instead of our private session, thinking she would be there waiting for us as she was most likely too scared to come into our lounge and directly meet with us. I chuckled at the thought, remembering how she nearly fell apart merely by being in our presence and began to wobble like a tuning fork, fear boldly written all over her. I stared blankly at them, my heart racing in fear, as they gazed back at me, their faces scrunched up into frowns and their fists clenched so tightly that veins streaked up their forearms like tree branches. Still, the other two seemed a little loosened up, but the calm-looking guy whom I still had no idea of what his name was, was glaring intently at me. I could clearly see the immense annoyance in his gaze, and I could only ponder on what must've gotten him so irritated. Had I done something wrong again? Just then, like a bolt of lightning, it hit me— I was supposed to have tendered their assignments to them for submission but I had not even touched a single page. Instantly, I began to panic, and my legs started to wobble like jello. I could feel the triplet's intense gaze boring into me so deeply that I couldn't help but gulp hard.
