ANTONELLA’S POV

I headed to the bathroom quickly to have a bath as I didn’t want to kept him waiting as he had said. I washed myself.

“He is so nice!” Nala answered with a smile.

“Oh, come on, you cannot say that. We both know he is the devil incarnate,” I answered her as I scrubbed my skin so hard like I wanted to tear it off.

“Oh, come on. We owe him our lives. We are alive because of him, you know? He is our savior” she answered.

“Our savior?” I scoffed and headed to my room to get prepared. “You are always in support of him. You should be with him then” I answered, jealousy taking the better part of me. She was just so odd. I got prepared quickly and headed to the dining room.

A sigh escaped my lips as I pulled the doorknob. A gazillion thoughts crossed my mind all at the same thing but I decided to carry on. I walked down the stairs quickly and headed to the dining table. He was there, alongside some other men.
