“ Hey guys, what's going on here? “ A familiar feminine voice called out from behind us. We turned to see Eve walking to us with a grin on her face.

Eve had been a good friend of mine since we were children and her smile had always been contagious to me until today. Normally when she smiled I always smiled back, but today I was just very upset to do so.

The fact that Silver was trying to act nice to Maya when I hadn’t even begun to do that yet angered me. I knew he was doing this to get her for himself.
