Chapter 12

Anna rushed into the house but was stopped by the butler at the entrance until Nora showed up and told him who Anna was to her.

Anna moved closer to Nora and whispered, “He looks scary.”

“Who, the butler?”

Ann nodded her head, “I think I might have peed my pants if you didn't show up in time. What were you doing outside that took you a while to come inside the house?”

“It's nothing special, I was just staring at something,” Nora said, walking over to the kitchen and Ann followed behind her.

On getting to the kitchen, they were both shocked to see Williams in an apron, baking cookies.

After snapping out of her daze, Nora smiled and looked at Ann who was still shocked by the bones. Nora turned back to look at Williams and was about to get his attention when he said, “If you're both done staring you can come to have a taste.” William said, still baking them.
