Chapter 11:  Sugar Baby

When Mr. West heard Kelly’s opening speech, his expression grew serious, and he listened attentively.

Kelly hesitated for a moment.

"I’m listening. What do you want to tell me?" Mr. West asked, looking at Kelly with a hint of apprehension. He wondered what could have prompted his daughter’s boyfriend to come directly and discuss something, assuming it must be very serious.

To his surprise, Kelly said, "Your daughter broke up with me a few days ago. She’s now with a sugar daddy—someone old enough to be her father. I’m really concerned about her, and that’s why I came to tell you."

The corner of Mr. West’s mouth twitched as he gave Kelly a fierce look. He then warned, “Kid, you should focus on your studies instead of spreading nonsense.”

Kelly retorted, “You can ask her yourself. She’s actually in a relationship with someone old enough to be her father. I don’t mean to say bad things about her—I love her—but she’s turning into a gold digger.”
