Luca's POV

The last thing I had expected from Astrid was for her to request that but it only made me glad. It's been a few days and I made sure I practiced with her and she was strangely a very fast learner and obviously had some experience with some martial arts but it never occurred to her to use them at all.

If she wants to come into my world, she is going to be a very useful ally when the time comes and a formidable enemy to those on the other side.

The car rolled through the dark streets at a high speed. The city blurred past as I stared out the window from the backseat. I was on my way to meet Halo Oscuro. The man had his head in the clouds and thought he could just send for me whenever he wanted.

He forgot the only reason I was with them was so that I could get rid of the two families who seem to be a thorn in my side at the moment. Things were getting more and more complicated with the Marcello and Ivano family.
