Chapter 42 | Surprise
Henry drives Harvey and Eden back to the mansion. The maids take care of his bag, and Harvey helps him walk. His lower abdomen still hurts, and he needs more rest. The doctor said it might take a few more weeks before he can finally move normally.
Henry opens the door, and they get welcomed by darkness. Eden furrows his eyebrows and wonders if all the bodyguards are working outside tonight. Harvey guides him to the main hall, and suddenly, the lights go on, and everyone screams: 'welcome back!'Eden widens his eyes and starts laughing when he realises the bodyguards and the maids threw him a surprise party. A large banner with 'welcome back Eden' is hung on the wall, as well as balloons. There's also a big cake with his picture on it and a lot of food.
"Papa!" Leo runs to his dad and hugs him, "You're back!"
Eden ruffles his hair, "You helped them with the surprise?"
"Yes!" Leo exclaims with bright eyes, "It was my idea to put the balloons!"
