Chapter 44: Watching You Under The Hospital Bed

Waking up in a bad nightmare is something someone wouldn’t want to experience especially when it involves people you care the most. I was sweating as I sat down on the bed, seeing no one beside me. No traces of smoke are inside and the smell remains the same. Even the sliding glass door isn’t open as well as the curtains remaining at its finest weren’t touched.

One thing was confirmed. Zamir hasn't returned home yet.

I woke up at exactly three in the morning, an evil hour according to people. I dreamed of Zamir getting shot, and for some reason, my heart was pounding so heavy that I even broke the glass that was just above the cabinet beside the mattress.
