There was nothing but an annoyed feeling that was consuming my entire system. I can’t function, feeling worried at the woman in front of me. Upon the first three days staying here, I can’t help not to get irritated by how she treats Lisa and the other maids as if she was the boss here.

My forehead creased when she went to where Zamir again, caressing his hands whilst slowly talking with him. She said she wanted a quiet life that’s why she ran here, but I honestly doubt her petty reason.

God knows how much I wanted to grab Zamir out of her hand, but when he said that she’s just a friend and nothing else more than that, I know Zamir is telling me the truth. I have to put my trust in him and communicate if something goes wrong. Well, that’s the least I can do for now.

“Can I borrow your phone, Lisa? I’ll just have to search for something. It will be quick,” I said while she was busy baking.

She was not looking but responded. “It’s beside the vase, Miss.
