Chapter 29 - Punishing And Rewarding!

Camelia's POV:

As soon as the car reached the mansion, I didn’t wait for Lucifer at all. I opened the door and ran inside with all my might. I didn't want to be with him. I wanted to stay alone for some time.

While climbing the stairs in haste, my feet slipped and I fell on the stairs. My right ankle twisted in a weird angle and I bit my lip in pain. Tears gathered in my eyes.

Thank god that my left hand somehow gripped the end of the banister, preventing any serious fall. Or else, I would be rolling down the stairs and died.

"Are you okay, preciosa? What happened?" Lucifer ascended through the stairs at a lightning speed. He observed my leg with concerned eyes. His brows knitted in worry.

He tried to touch my ankle to take a look but I pushed his hand. I was feeling scared of him to even let him touch me. It was the same hand that cut the man’s hands.
