36~ Déjà vu

Evelyn left Damian’s house angrily and entered the cab that her uncle had come with. She was hoping Damian would go after her and tell her he was just acting but he did none of that.

Reality hit her hard. To him, she was just a sex pet. She was the fool who thought it was something more and even gave herself to him.

She thought there was something more between them. The way he made her feel, the way he looked at her and how passionate he was when they made love. She felt loved and cared for so she believed she was special to him.

Turns out it was all just her wishful thinking. Damian had many women, why would he see her any different? Perhaps he was like that with all the other women and she was the fool who read too much into his actions.

But even after he broke her heart into tiny pieces, she didn’t hate him. She couldn’t.

Evelyn just felt disappointed that she was the only one invested in what she thought they had.
