Chapter 14: It's Only 7 A.M.

Lagertha's POV:

"Ugh" a groan escapes my lips at the sound of loud banging.

"I'm coming" I mumbled my face still stuffed into the pillows as I begin reaching out around me to find the bed empty, but the knocking continues.

"Why" I whine to myself while pulling my head up.

Turning I roll putting my legs on the ground but the knocking gets louder "I'm coming" I yell anger starting to show in my tone.

'Who the fuck thinks it's okay to bang on my door at 7 in the morning' I ask myself while squinting at the alarm clock.

The sound of the shower running catches my attention as I pass the door heading towards the living room to find Miles.

Clearly he had woken up earlier due to the fact that he was sat up on the couch the only thing giving away the fact that he was asleep was his head thrown back while loud snores escaped his lips.

A bowl of cereal was still placed in his hands as an old cartoon played on the television, the knocking quickly filling the room again causing me to groan.
