Bobby's POV

Andre’s meeting put me a little on edge and I could not stop thinking about what plans they were coming up with.

They didn’t quite say much at the table but Adam had mentioned something about my orphanage, although it had been so long ago, it still bothered me.

“They wouldn’t be able to make any good case from that fire at your orphanage, would they? I mean it happened like how long ago? over twenty years I think, I mean they said you were seventeen at the time, right” Jacqueline asked, sipping from the glass of whiskey in her hand.

“Come to think of it, did you really burn down a whole building with people inside, children for that matter?” She asked again, seeming shocked as she tried to search my face for lies.

“Why? Are you scared of me now, do you think I would one day set you on fire?” I asked unbothered

“Well I don’t really care for those things you know, living in an orphanage sucks anyways, I know how hard it is to be in one.” She said, taking another sip fr
