Aurora POV

It was the next day, and I woke up tiredly. My night was a long one; I didn’t realise how exhausted I was; Dexter drained me completely. But thankfully, I was able to get a good sleep. I left my room, heading to the kitchen to prepare his breakfast. The house was quiet as usual, so I just walked to the kitchen aimlessly. But as I got closer to the living room, I was hearing voices, so curious, I headed to the living room.

I breathe out as my eyes landed on Mrs. King; she looked graceful as usual. Why is she here? I haven’t heard anything from her since the marriage. Mary looked up, and her eyes locked on me, and she smirked. Did she perhaps report something to Mrs. King? Her confidence and smirk were too glaring to pass by. Anyway, I walked towards them, putting on a polite smile.
