Chapter Twenty: Missing.

Stark 's P.O.V.

I woke shortly after with me feeling hungry, it was in the morning I last ate. My stomach stirred and I got up to walk out of the room. I walk into the kitchen and ordered Eva to make something quick for me.

“Bring it to the office once it's done.“ I told them before walking away. I entered the office and sat down on my chair with my head faced up. For some reasons, my wolf has been purring and moving about restlessly in me and I groan out in frustration.

“What is it Zeus?“ I asked in an exasperating manner.

'Something is wrong.'

I sigh pulling my chair closer to the large desk.

“Hunger dude, I'm hungry and that's what's wrong.“ I say, before bringing out some work to go through. Few minutes passed by and my meal was brought to me. I devoured it and got up to head back to my room but Zeus wouldn't still let me be.

He kept on pacing and whimpering about something I didn't know. I thought it was the hunger but then I could also still feel it in my stomach.

Something was truly wrong. My mind first went to my mate, so I rush up the stairs to her room. I opened it without knocking and was surprised to see it empty. So I mind-linked Jack and asked if Amelia was with him but then my heart skipped when he told me he hadn't seen her since noon.

I quickly mind-linked other werewolves I know stayed in the training pack but also said they hadn't seen her since noon. Trying to stay calm as possible I went around together with some trusted werewolves to look for her. But we couldn't find her anywhere, my pulse tightened and my heart began to beat fast at the possibility of where she might be.

She's new in town. Where else would she be if she wasn't in the house? I racked my head to think of a place but couldn't think of any. She wouldn't go back to her family house, it was a very long distance all the way.

'Tyler, I need your help. Amelia's missing.' I mind-linked Tyler and explained what was happening in panic. He was the best tracker and I knew he would locate her every easily.

'I'm coming over right now. Give me a few minutes.' He cut off the link and I rush back to her room for any cue of her whereabout.

This time, I carefully surveyed the room but frown when I caught a strange scent in the air. Someone else was here. A female werewolf.

I knew my mate's scent so well and was very sure that another presence stayed in the room. It was another werewolf scent, its smell was so strong that I knew it was a female scent but wasn't my mate's.

I walk to her wardrobe and pulled it open. All her clothes and belongings were intact which meant she didn't leave for her family. I would have took in a dress and inhaled her scent. My wolf was ready to track her down with her scent if she hadn't gone too far away.

Tyler walked into the room together with Jack and I turn to look at them.

Jack was the first to speak up. “Alpha, a girl just told me that she overheard Amelia and Lily talking about a party.“

What?

My eyes saw red in an instant and I growled angrily causing Tyler and Jack to shift back in fright.

“Where?“ I gritted out.

Minutes later, we arrived at the street the girl describe and I glance at the dark street, my hands tightly gripping the car's steering wheel.

“Goodness, remind me who brought her here again.“ Tyler wondered also, as we took in the surrounding.

“There's no way Amelia knew about this place before coming here.“ Jack spoke and I agree with him.

Everyone knows this area of the town. It was a place where illicit and dangerous things happen. I really need to do something about this territory. It was an abandoned territory for rogues and all kinds of deadly creatures. My mate was here and I feared for anything happening to her. I swear I would kill whoever brought her here. I just hope nothing happens to her.

I try to calm myself and drive futher into the street. I turned a corner and immediately the sound of electrical music could be heard blasting from a building. There was really a party going on as everywhere was scattered with people going to and from a building.

“Oh shit. We need to be careful.“ Tyler muttered. I pack the car on a sideway about three blocks away from the building.

“Lets separate, so it will be more easier to find her.“ I said as soon as I killed the car's engine. “Remember we are outnumbered, So just try to avoid anybody as careful as possible and focus on looking for her. Whoever finds her first should report to me immediately and bring her to the car. I don't want any messy situation please.“

“Noted Alpha.“ They chorused and we all got out from the vehicle. We make our way to the building and departed into various areas. I entered the house, some people sparing me few glances while others, females especially, try to make a pass at me. I ignored them all and scanned the crowd carefully for any glimpse of a blonde girl. It was so difficult to pinpoint her scent among the crowd, but my wolf still tried. He would resurface every now and then, sniffing every blonde figure too.

'Alpha, I just found Linda.' Jack spoke through the link as I walk out of the kitchen.

'Where? Is Amelia there with her?' I demanded authoritative, pushing through the crowd and into a less crowded area.

'Lily is at the back of the building alone with some other guys but I don't see Amelia with them. Should I approach them?'

'Yes and ask her about Amelia.'

'I can feel her wolf nearby, Stark . She's close by.' My wolf, Zeus spoke.

'She says Amelia excused herself to the restroom minutes ago and hasn't returned since then.' Jack voice spoke again and my head snap to the stairs direction.

'Upstairs.' Zeus glowed and I quickly rush through the crowd and up the stairs.

I push every bedroom toilets and restroom door that I came accross open and often received shouts and curses from occupants.

'Here.' Zeus said as he sniffed a corner at the right side of the hallway and I froze when the scent I've been looking for hit my nostrils. I trace the scent of my mate but stopped when a loud scream rang across the empty hallway.

Amelia.

I took in a deep breath and ran fast into the direction of her voice. My blood boiled in anger and my jaws clenched tight at the sight of a man grabbing onto my mate's neck. No one dares to touch my mate.

I growled lowly and snapped fast, shifting into my wolf immediately. I ran and launched hard on the person, tearing him with my claws. He screamed and dropped my mate and I quickly dipped my sharp teeth into this neck dragging him away from her. I swing him around, my teeth still in neck and pull him his right arm from his shoulders. He screamed painfully again. He tried to sink his other arm into my fur but I do the same by ripping off the arm from his shoulder. I sink my teeth futher into his neck and forcely rip his head off. Once dead, I drop the body and quickly shift back to my human force. Not bothering about my nakedness, I rush to Amelia's unconscious form.

'I've found her.' I say through mind-link to the others.
