"Where are you guys going?"

Claude turned toward the voice, only to find that four unfamiliar men had crossed the threshold.

The one in the lead was a middle-aged man with a clean-shaven face who was dressed like a scholar straight out of the pages of history. Behind him were three burly men who looked to be around 30 years old.

"Who are you people?" Claude asked, his eyes narrowing. "How did you get in?"

"The gate was open, so we just came in from the outside."

That was impossible!

There were guards stationed at the entrance of the compound. If these people had really come through the front gate, the guards would've stopped them for sure.
