As Cassian stood before the residential building, he could feel shivers running down his spine. Even all of his hair stood on end.

"Was it this cold when you came here last time?" he asked.

"Yeah. It's the same as in the past," Zoey replied. "This place has always been colder than the other places."

"It's not just 'cold'; it's practically freezing! Cassian, you might not know this, but the temperature inside the building is even lower!" Frank exclaimed.

"Is that so?"

Cassian stepped into one of the rooms inside the residential building right away. Right away, he could feel cold air enveloping him, as though he was standing in a storage freezer right now.

Rivershire was known to be a warm city, not to mention it was summertime right now. The temperature outside was almost 104 degrees Fahrenheit, and yet the temperature inside the building was only 23 degrees Fahrenheit.
