my sister's betrayal

ROSELINE'S POV

Liam finally tied the knot with Isabelle right in front of me, and it was one of the most painful I've ever watched in my entire life. How Liam said those vows that were meant for me to her, how he kissed her, how he gave her my ring all together drove me mad, my wolf was fighting to take control to launch at Isabelle but my control was more strong than hers so she wasn't able to come out cause if she did, then that was only to get Liam angry so I knew better than to let her take control.

Their ceremony was finally over, and all the guests had all gone away but before going home, they made sure they threw mocking words at me, some even pushed me challenging me to see if I could fight back but I didn't, not because I can't, I could easily tear all of their flesh in seconds if I wanted to, my wolf wasn't weak anymore, all that training had made her strong though not that strong but at least I could stand in a fight now but this wasn't the fight I wanted, so I just braced myself for all their insults, after all, it's not the first time such words have been thrown at me but it did hurt, it's hurts more than ever.

My hands were tied to a chair and were now free so the first thing I did was hurry to go find Liam and convince him to end his marriage with Isabelle before midnight fall because after that, they would be officially mated together under the full moon and it might be impossible to get him to end their marriage so before then I have to see him now.

Liam wasn't anywhere in the places I've searched for him, and when I asked the servants for help on his whereabouts, they all ignored me like I was a peasant. It wasn't their fault they must have been given orders to not pay me any respect as I wasn't their Luna anymore but that's going to change, I'm going to claim my title and my mate so I left them and continued my search for Liam.

I passed by some servants and overheard them saying Liam was with Isabelle in his Alpha's room so without waiting for what they were going to say next, I quickly dashed to Liam's throne room and I was glad Isabelle was there so she could watch Liam reclaim me back as his mate and banish her for what she did. I was confident he would so I had no worries going to meet but I was stopped by the devil herself when I got to the room Liam was.

I thought she was inside with him, so what's she doing out here? Or has he finally come to his senses and throw her out? I guess I'm going to find out anyway after I talk to him but to do that, she has to get out of my way.

"Get out of my way!" I said, my voice harsh

"Hmm the audacity to speak to me in such a tone, seems like you're forgetting who you're standing in front of now correct that tone before I get mad," Isabelle said

"Don't let me repeat myself unless..."

"Unless what?" She cut me off "You can do nothing you cheating b**ch beside sleeping around before your wedding!"

"You're one to call me after you were the mastermind behind that!"

"Bravo bravo!" She clapped her hands "I thought you would be too stupid to realize who was behind your little incident last night, it's a good thing you're not just as stupid as you look but I hope you had fun last night, you know I carefully picked him out for you but guess he was a wrong choice because I had wanted you to come here after we were already married but you came before but whatever, I've already claimed what's rightfully mine thanks to your stupidity! Oh gosh" she scoffed mid-sentence "I can't believe someone as stupid as you is Liam's mate, the moon goddess must have probably made a mistake but it's a good thing I was able to correct that mistake"

Knowing Isabelle was behind what happened last night was less painful, but hearing her admit it was a whole level of another pain. I can't believe my little sister, the one person who was on my side would do this to me and stand here and call me stupid to my face, too stupid to be Liam's mate, the betrayal hurts so much but why did she do it, did her mother make her do this cause I remember her being the only one happy for me when Liam said I was his mate, she said she didn't care about him that she didn't love him but now she married him, tricked me, why?

"Why?" I asked holding back tears "Why did you do it, I thought you were happy for me?"

"Happy?" She scoffed "You thought I was happy for you when Liam said you were his mate? Gosh, how stupid are you that you couldn't see that I was anything but happy! Liam was the only man I ever loved, I wished he was my mate but the moon goddess thought it was funny to mate you, a worthless thing to him, an Alpha while mate me to a nobody" Her face turned to disgust as she spoke about her mate "all my training, beauty, intelligence, leadership skills, the moon goddess thought what I deserve was him, is it fair dear sister?" She turned to me

"Is it fair that I was mated to that lowlife like you when I deserved Liam? No, it's not fair, you deserved him not me, I deserve Liam, everybody says it and you also knew I deserved him but you were too greedy to give him to me, too selfish to think you deserve him and too stupid to think I'll sit back and watch you live my dream, everything I've ever worked so hard for, you think I'll just let you have it?" She laughed mockingly "no dear sister, I can't. It's me before you, never forget that, I deserve every good thing not you!"

"You're the one that's greedy, not me, I never knew you liked him, you never told me and I'm not the one stupid enough to not see that you like him but it is you who is stupid enough to not show it!" Isabelle was lying, she never made it known that she had a thing for Liam, if I could remember, she said she wanted nothing to do with him because she didn't love him but now she's calling me stupid that I couldn't see that she liked him when in truth, she's the stupid, selfish and greedy one, she has everything, everything that was deprived of me and the one person that was supposed to give me all that, she has also managed to take him away just like her mother, they're both greedy witches!

"If I'm greedy then you're more, I've been nothing but nice to you when growing up, everything I had I shared with you, I never bullied you instead I stood up for you but now you're standing here calling me greedy, you ungrateful b**ch!" She spat in my face

"That wasn't been nice, you were just deceiving me to make me think you were on my side but in truth, you were just like the others and I wished you acted like your true self instead of being a snake cause I would have aware of your plans and see right through your trap!" I should have stayed back when she asked me to go out for drinks with her to celebrate my new life with Liam, but I stupidly followed her and fell into her trap

"Mmm," she clapped her hands once more "I'm so impressed with your thinking! Since when did you get this smart?"

"I'm done with this conversation now get out of my way!" This wasn't why I was here to stand here and argue how big of a deceitful person Isabelle was, I had better things to do and I was running out of time, it was almost time for their full moon ceremony and I needed to speak with Liam before that.

"I'm sorry but I can't, the person you wish to see is my husband and I can't have anyone see him more ever you, so that won't be possible," she said blocking the door

"Your husband? I scoffed "Let me through and let's see if he would still be yours, he would throw you out the second he finds out you're behind what happened last night"

"Oh my gosh I'm so scared please don't tell him please don't" she acted like she was pleading before laughing out "Liam is mine, and after tonight he'll be mine forever and there's nothing you can do about so just accept and move on and go back to what you're meant to be" she leaned in and whispered in my ear "a slave" she said before going back to face me "now get out before I do what we both we regret, I still consider you my sister so I'm letting you go the easy way"

"I'm not leaving without seeing Liam, let me see him!" I tried to get around her but she kept on blocking my path

"You caused this!" She held my both arms before calling for some guards and throwing me to them when they arrived "Threw her out and don't let me ever set my eyes on her unless I'll have both of your heads!" She warned before turning back and going into the room Liam was in while I was been dragged away kicking and screaming for them to let go of me but they ignored me and threw me out when we reached the door.

"No! Open this door! Liam!" I got up and banged on the door for them to open it but no one did and my screams attracted people which soon turned into a crowd, all of them standing out here staring at me with disgust and whispering but loud enough for me to hear and I just couldn't take it anymore so I ran away with tears.

I ran away to go find somewhere to cry my eyes out but on my way, I accidentally bumped into someone, knocking both of us to the ground with him on top of me

"Argh get off" I used all my strength to push the person off me "Are you blind, can't you see your stu..." I stopped when I realized who I just crashed into. It was the person responsible for all this..my blood boiled seeing him and I just wanted to rip his head off from his neck

"Hmm" he scoffed "if it's isn't the stubborn slut!" He said smirking.
