Luca’s POV

I knew if told my mother my intention she would have stopped me. I had already asked Alpha Liam and Uncle Cliff. My first battle. As a young Alpha I’m a target I get that, but I’m trained by the best. I won’t get cocky; I’ll stay low and watch myself.

I arrive at the portal and turn to my dad.

“Any last-minute advice?” I ask.

“Never tell your mother that I didn’t try and stop you,” he says smiling. I think my dad is low key proud of me.
