“Tatum!” Cade looked at me with an annoyed expression.

“What do you want? I’m not going to get all scared because a female wants to fight me. In fact, I welcome it. What is the guy going to do? Hit on me and give me business? I can handle it. I’m not going to go into hiding because some dumb bitch thinks she can take whatever she wants.”

Waving off Cade’s concern, I just sat back and gulped down the rest of my drink.

“You need to take this seriously.” Cade growled at me.

“Cade, what do you want me to do? We don’t know who the number was. You already said the guys will be taking turns watching me while I am at the shop. Do you want me to walk around and jump at every sound I hear?” Now, I was getting annoyed with him. “I get you are concerned, and it is your job to keep me safe, but getting all pissy about it isn’t going to magically make any threat credible with a source. Relax and we will address it as it comes along. We are a long way off from a war.”
