Chapter Forty Seven: The Family visit

Justin turned to look at Jasmine with a questioning look on his face. “Jasmine?” he called.

“I want to hear what they have to say,” Jasmine said.

Although Jasmine had said that she wanted to see her parents, Cole could not grant her wish if Justin did not give him permission to do so. And so, He turned to Justin and waited for him to speak.

“You can send them in,” Justin said. Cole bowed and left.

After Cole left, Justin turned to Jasmine. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to see your family,” he said.

“Nothing good ever comes from my family,” Jasmine affirmed and chuckled. “My sister is the one responsible for my condition and so, I want to hear what she have to say.”

There was a knock on the door after Jasmine spoke. “Come in,” she said and the door opened.

Just like Cole had informed them, her father and siblings were there. The only person who was not there was her step mother, Regina, much to Jasmine’s relief.

Justin did not bother to hide the hatred from them as he looked at th
