Kael's mental message hit me like a wave, a new sensation that dazed me. I glanced at Knox, my surprise evident, and he chuckled. "Yeah, now he can do that. It's like having someone unexpectedly turn up the volume in your head."

I raised an eyebrow. "Can you do it now too?"

Knox nodded. "I can do everything he can now. We're more linked than ever before."
