Cassandra laid on her bed, her head rested on the pillow as she gazed at the open window, the gentle wind of the night swept in.
She remembered the look on Dennis face when she said those words at the office, Cassandra knew how hmch her heart broke hearing herself saying those words to the man she loves but she could not hold herself due to the massive pain she felt, it was like someone pierced a sharp knife inside of her and she hated it so much.
She got up, changed into her pink night rope and with her laptop next to her, she tried to do some work but she just couldn't, she felt so emotionally weak to do anything and it just frustrated her.
