Chapter 30

Ella’s POV

“So how formal is this celebration on Saturday?” I asked Kate as we drove to go shopping for dresses.

“Well, it’s pretty formal. We only have celebrations so many times a year, so we try and go all out for them.” Kate said as she kept her eyes on the road.

Somehow Kate had snuck the keys of Caleb’s black Land Rover and I wondered if she did this all the time. I could tell that Caleb had a soft spot for his little sister and he would do just about anything for her.

“So how are things going between you and my brother?” Kate asks looking over at me raising her eyebrow.

“Good.” I said making my answer short. I didn’t really want to give the details to Caleb’s baby sister.

“That good ha?” She laughs.

“No. It really is going good. I just, I don’t know. I want to take things slow. It’s hard not knowing who I am, and I wish I could get my memories back, so I knew who I was before the accident.” I tell her trying to make sense of it myself.
