Chance’s POV

My current situation wasn’t ideal and my wolf was clawing at me to seek revenge on Hunter and the Crescent Moon pack. I had underestimated my cousin and his strength. In my short time at the Crescent Moon pack, I never saw him release so much power as he did the day he attacked Blue Moon and myself. It was as if his wolf had doubled in size and power like nothing I had ever seen before radiated from him. It was if he had gone mad with the loss of Ella. I too was crazed with madness learning of her death but my anger was towards him for not protecting her even though he was blaming me for her kidnapping and death. There was no reasoning with him at the council meeting when he blamed me. I was appalled he would think I was that evil to kill my own mate. The same day that she was kidnapped and killed in the accident I had decided to send her a message to come back to me and that I would forgive her for leaving with Hunter.
