Katherine glanced at Yvonne who was busy weaving, she felt relieved seeing her so concentrated and detached from all the dilemma wrapped around her head. She dart her gaze to the computer again, refreshing it for a reply.

"Is Daddy not coming home soon?"

"He is. He just needs a few more rest days at the hospital. He'll be with us in no time."

"Yes. He will be just fine and we'll all be together for the longest time." Katherine's lips shifted into a smile. They were just words but Katherine wanted herself to believe them too.
