Chapter Four.

    DIANA

    Getting to the hospital,I entered the elevator this time cause I was too exhausted to use the stairs or walk on floors that took me to the third floor;and when I got to the room 204 I entered and was surprised when I saw her awake.

    "Ma'am you are awake"I exclaimed with excitement,I rushed to her bedside and held her hand "how are you feeling,do you feel pains anywhere,should I get the doctor yes the doctor"I pressed the button on the wall while she stared at me and the room with a hint of confusion on her face,the door opened and the doctor rushed in with two other nurses.

    "What's wrong?"she asked staring at me.

    "She's awake"I said pointing to grandma and she muttered an oh before commencing on checking her. "She's Alright and it's a miracle for her to be awake,I'd expected her to wake in a week time but seeing this I must say she's really strong,she just need some rest and some light food and she will be back on her feet again"the doctor reassured.

    "Thank you doctor"I said and grandma whispered that she was thirsty so the nurse gave her some water.

    "Where am I?"she asked after drinking the water.

    "You're in the hospital ma'am,can you remember what happened"

    "I was attacked by some gun men"

    "I've already informed the police and they are already looking into it"she(grandma)turned to me.

    "Who are you?"she asked.

    "Oh ma'am am Diana and I brought you here last night"I explained.

    "Thank you my child"

    "You're welcome ma'am"

    "You can call me grandma"she said and I smiled.

    "Alright grandma"I wiped a lone tear from my eye

    "Grandma are you hungry?"I asked and she nods her head so I turned to the doctor

    "Where can I get the light food"

    "At the cafeteria downstairs or miss Abigail please take her to the cafeteria"

    "I'll be back soon grandma"she nodded while I followed the nurse out and on our way I saw some cops and some people which I believe were influential by their aura and dressing they all wore mask.

    Getting to the cafeteria,I bought some chicken and rice soup with green Chiles and ginger with a bottle of water before going back to the room and getting there I started hearing noises from the room and I had the checked the number on the wall to make sure I was at the right door,I opened the door and was surprised when I saw the same people at the hallway in the room but this time they removed their mask and I was beyond shocked when I saw the president,the First Lady,Leo Smiths and another guy who looked like Leo,oh my gosh what are these heavenly people doing here.

    "Diana"I heard grandma called but I still stood on the same spot.

    "Diana am hungry"my brain quickly acted when I heard the *hungry*part.

    "Am sorry grandma,I took so long"I helped to sit up and adjust the bed trying not to pay attention to the people in the room.

    "Grandma,who is this?"the one who looked like Leo asked.

    "She's Diana and she saved me"Grandma said and they all faced me. "Diana this is my son Louis smiths,his wife Nicole,my grand babies Liam and Leonard"she introduced and someone coughed out rather too loudly at the and of the room.

    "Oh and that's my husband Lucas smiths"

    "Nice to meet you all"I said Boeing my head lightly.

    "Diana,I want to thank you for saving my mother's life,I owe you one".Mr Louis said and I almost peed in my pants,the president is thanking me oh ain't I lucky.

    "It's nothing sir,I just did what I had to do"I opened the table and intend to feed her but a loud gasps made me paused

    "What on earth are you giving to her"Nicole asked in a stern voice which made my body shake.

    "Some chicken and rice soup ma'am"I replied politely and she shook her head.

    "Mum is not going to eat that,don't worry I'll ask the chef to prepare a better looking dish than this"she said and I intend to close the box but grandma held my hand.

    "Diana am hungry please feed me"she complained pouting her lips like a baby making me almost chuckled but I quickly composed myself.

    "Okay".

    "But mum you can't eat this hospital food or from where ever it came from,it doesn't contain the vitamins you need and who knows maybe it's filled with germs.

    "Mum please don't do this here"Leo said and his mother frowned.

    "Am going to talk to the doctor so we can transfer you to our hospital"Mr Louis said before leaving the room.

    "Grandma you gave me a fright" Leo said holding her hand pouting like a baby also.

    "Oh my nardy,Am sorry if I scared you but don't worry am fine now"I almost laughed when I heard the name *nardy* seriously,Liam burst into laughter.

    "Grandma am a man now so please don't call me nardy again even Liam thinks it's funny"he complained still pouting making Liam and their grandpa chuckle.

    "You are still a baby to me and besides you are just 25(twenty five).

    "Mum I hope you are not feeling uncomfortable in this crappy place"ma'am Nicole asked with disgust written all over her face which spoiled the mood.

    The door opened and Mr Louis with the doctor and a nurse who wheeled the wheelchair inside.

    "Okay I've signed the transfer papers and also paid the bills so mum we are good to go"

    "Okay Mum let's go,this place is getting suffocating already"Ma'am Nicole said picking her bag up while Mr Louis helped grandma to the wheelchair and wore a mask for her,they also wore theirs before going out,I followed them so I could say my final goodbye to grandma.
