Chapter 19 I Naive Girl

Hagen got out of the car as soon as he saw Camellia’s body lying on the shoulder of the road. He took a momentary breath, massaged his head, and then looked up to the sky while swearing softly before finally walking at his usual pace. There was not the slightest look of rush or worry when it was evident that the sun was very hot this afternoon.

“Boss?” called Frank, who opened the car’s glass window and saw his boss approaching the stubborn girl.

Even though he had told his boss not to have to come to see the girl, of course, no one could stop Blake Hagen.

Hagen’s one hand rose into the air, and he motioned at his subordinates to stay in the car, making Frank make a hand gesture of surrender.

When it was only a few steps away as he approached Camellia’s body, Hagen took out a cell phone and called Brown’s name. During the third ringing, there was the hoarse voice of his best friend, who seemed to be enduring pain.
