Jennifer's expression changed instantly, and she kicked Hugh away.

"Hugh! What do you think you're doing? Stop this!"

"Hehe, what am I doing?" Hugh stepped back, smirking coldly. "Jennifer, why are you acting all innocent and virtuous in front of me? Do you think I don't know? You secretly got registered with that loser, Frederick!

"You'd rather marry that scumbag than be with me? Fine! I'll shatter all your pride and show you what a real man is!" Hugh lunged at her again like a beast.

Jennifer rushed to the door, but it was locked from the outside. Panic washed over her.

She had been careless!

She thought Hugh wouldn't dare harm her, given her status. But she had underestimated him.

He was utterly mad!

With a sinister laugh, Hugh said, "This hotel is owned by my people. Do you think you can escape?"

Eyes blazing with fury, Jennifer warned, "If you dare lay a finger on me, the entire York family will hunt you down!"

Without hesitation, Hugh grabbed her by the hair and thr
