"Why?"

Jennifer and Frederick were both somewhat surprised.

"Because according to our work principles, we encourage couples to reconcile rather than to divorce. Besides, you two have just married, and your strong connection is like that of a model couple," the attendant chuckled meaningfully.

"You must be very affectionate usually, right? How could we bear to break up such a perfect match?"

Both of them fell silent.

Affectionate? Perfect match?

They had only known each other for a few days!

Jennifer raised an eyebrow. "What nonsense rules are these? Then, when can we get a divorce?"

The attendant replied, "At least another month!"

As they walked out of the clerk's office, Jennifer suddenly said, "Since that's the case, let's postpone this divorce for now. You don't need to move out yet. Let's wait until I'm completely recovered, then we'll revisit this issue and about you resigning."

Frederick nodded. "Sure."
