Liliana’s Point of View

We were in the parking lot now—me, Maribelle, Gerald, Jack, and a few others from work. Some had already taken taxis, and the rest had their own cars.

Gerald opened the passenger door next to the driver’s seat, like it was reserved for me all along.

“This is really your seat, Babe. Sit here.”

I glanced at Maribelle. She smiled and nodded toward the open door.

“Jack, let Mirabelle ride with you,” I said. “You’d be all alone otherwise. That’s okay with you, right, Mirabelle?”

She looked surprised at first, then smiled and slowly nodded.

“Okay. That’s fine. We’ll just follow behind you guys.”

I smiled and reached for her hand. “Thank you, BFF.”

She blinked in surprise. “You’re forgiving me?”

I nodded. “Yes. You’re my best friend. Of course, I will.”

I patted her head gently, and she smiled at me. Then she wrapped her arms around me.

“I missed you, Beshy.”

I hugged her back and caught Jack looking at us, so I raised an eyebrow at him. When our hug ended

  • My Contracted Husband Is My Boss (Eng Ver.)   Chapter 48

Liliana’s Point of ViewWe didn’t continue with the movie marathon because apparently, we were headed to a place that Asher said was perfect for my current situation. We were inside the car now, and I glanced at him. He was holding my hand while quietly staring out the window.“Where exactly are we going?” I asked, pouting. “I’ve been confused since earlier. You still haven’t told me where we’re headed. Even Kuya Driver won’t say a word.”I was clearly sulking. It was frustrating. My eyes were still swollen from all the crying earlier, and now we were out in public.“Is there a secret you’re supposed to tell me right away?” I added, my pout deepening as I looked at him.“My eyes are still puffy from crying,” I mumbled, looking away. “I don’t feel like going out like this.”“We’ll probably get a discount if your eyes are red and puffy,” he joked. My eyes widened. “Huh?!”He chuckled. “Wife, just relax. We’re almost there, so stop worrying, okay?”I sighed and leaned back in my seat. St

Liliana’s Point of ViewI was staring blankly at him, still dazed from the kiss he gave me. His lips slowly pulled away from mine, and I blinked, trying to process what just happened.“W-Why did you kiss me?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.“You really tempt me, Honey,” he said, biting his lower lip right after.I blinked again, stunned. “Wait, what did I do?”“You licked the sauce off the corner of my mouth,” he answered. My whole body froze. Oh my God—I didn’t even realize I did that!“I’m sorry… I guess I’m just used to it.”His brows furrowed even deeper. He set his spoon and fork on the table, then gave me a look that made me sit up straighter.“Used to it with who, hmm?”He didn’t sound angry. But something about his tone felt… off. Like he was uncomfortable with the idea.“I just didn’t want to leave—”“Did you do that to your ex?”My eyes widened at his question.“What? No! I mean… wait, why do you sound affected?”“Because I’m your husband.”I closed my eyes for a s

Liliana’s Point of View Asher said he would do the cleaning while I handled the cooking, so I focused on preparing our meal. I even decided to bake some cookies for us to enjoy later while watching movies together. It felt cozy in the condo with music playing softly through the speaker, which was connected to YouTube. I hummed along while working in the kitchen, multitasking between cooking and baking. I had gotten used to doing this. Manang had taught me well over the years. I glanced at Asher and noticed how naturally he cleaned. It was surprising, really. Most rich people I knew preferred to let others do the cleaning for them, but not Asher. He cleaned every corner of his condo with such ease, like it was something he did every day. I saw him wiping sweat from his forehead, so I poured a glass of cold water and walked over to him. “Hubby, drink this,” I said gently. He paused from wiping the shelves, looked at me, and smiled before stepping forward to take the glass. I handed

Third Person’s Point of View Gerald and Mirabelle arrived at her boarding house and quickly stepped out of the car. They went inside in a rush, and before Mirabelle could even close the door, their lips were already pressed together in a heated kiss. With her back against the door, Mirabelle reached behind her to shut it while still kissing Gerald. His hands roamed her body as he slowly undressed her, removing her top and then her bra. Soon, their clothes were scattered across the floor, both of them completely bare. “Come here, Mirabelle,” Gerald murmured as he sat on the sofa. Without hesitation, Mirabelle knelt in front of him and took him into her mouth. Her movements were fast, eager, sliding him in and out as Gerald leaned back, eyes closed in pleasure. But in that moment, Gerald’s thoughts drifted. He imagined Liliana instead of Mirabelle. Ever since Liliana had started looking more attractive, he couldn’t help but feel drawn to her. The guilt washed over him, but the fanta

Liliana’s Point of View I felt someone lifting me. Why do I feel drunk already? I only had a little to drink earlier. I slowly opened my eyes and glanced at the person carrying me. “Make sure her meetings for Monday are arranged,” I heard him say. “Yes, Boss. Are you not working overtime tomorrow?” Caleb asked. “No. I need to give my wife some time. I’m not like before—stuck in the company with no one to come home to on my days off.” Caleb smiled and gave him a small nod. Then I saw him—my husband, Asher. I couldn’t help but smile while staring at him. God really outdid Himself when He made this man. He’s just… perfect. “Hubby!” I suddenly yelled, which made both Asher and Caleb jump—and probably everyone else in the lobby too. “I think Miss Liliana becomes a different person when she’s drunk,” Caleb said with a chuckle as they walked. I moved a little and reached up to wrap my arms around Asher’s neck. They paused as he adjusted his grip on me. “Are you uncomfortable, Wife?

  • My Contracted Husband Is My Boss (Eng Ver.)   Chapter 43

Liliana’s Point of View Everyone was staring at me. I hadn’t even raised my wine glass yet. How could I? Both my hands were being held—one by Asher, the other by Gerald. I sighed deeply and decided to play along like I was completely drunk. Slowly, I closed my eyes and let my head drop forward, about to land on the table when someone gently caught me and leaned my head against their shoulder. It was then I realized—it was Asher. “Looks like Ms. Liliana is completely drunk,” someone commented. “I’ll take her home,” Gerald quickly offered. My fingers tightened around Asher’s hand, silently telling him not to let go. I didn’t want Gerald to take me. “Are you sure you’re okay to drive?” Asher asked, his tone calm but pointed. “You’ve been drinking too, haven’t you? Isn’t it dangerous to drive while intoxicated?” I thought he’d understand my hint. Apparently not—Asher wasn’t about to back down easily. “Who here hasn’t had a drink?” he continued. “And yet she’s the one who looks the

Liliana’s Point of View My eyes widened as I looked at Asher’s parents. Without thinking, I quickly covered my face, and Asher pulled me into a hug. Oh my God—he actually wanted this to happen! How could he be enjoying this so much? “Mom, why did you bring that camera?” he asked. “To make memories. Oh my God! This angle is so good!” his mom said, obviously delighted as she kept filming. I slowly peeked out from behind my hands. Oh no. “Baby Liliana, don’t be shy,” his mom cooed. Then she suddenly hugged me, which completely caught me off guard. “You better get used to this. This is how Mom is. She’s always wanted a daughter,” Asher whispered beside me. “Baby Liliana, don’t be shy with me,” his mom said again, her voice full of warmth. “I heard your grandparents were the only ones left with you. From now on, treat me like your mom, and treat my husband like your dad. We're a family now.” I froze at her words, biting my lip as tears welled up in my eyes. I had always dreamed of

  • My Contracted Husband Is My Boss (Eng Ver.)   Chapter 40

Liliana’s Point of View Asher looked at me. Our eyes actually met this time, and my heart started to race. But it wasn’t because I was falling for him—no. I was nervous. I had no idea what he might say to me next, and that scared me more than anything. I glanced at Jack, who was frowning at me while sipping his juice. I subtly pointed my lips toward Asher’s direction, prompting Jack to look as well. That was when he choked on his juice and accidentally spat it out—right at Mirabelle. Nice one, Jack. “What the hell, Jack?!” Mirabelle snapped. “Sorry, Mirabelle,” Jack said quickly. “It’s just that... our boss is here. Hello, Boss!” Everyone turned their eyes to Asher. We all scrambled to stand up, and I bowed my head slightly in respect. I noticed Asher gesturing for his colleagues to go ahead into the VIP room. “Hmm... I didn’t know you guys eat here,” he said. “Yes, Sir. Our friend Gerald treated us,” Jack answered politely. Asher turned slowly to Gerald, eyeing him carefully
