51. Call Your Father

Meghan was surprisingly calm about this whole thing so I decided to keep a close eye on her. She was up to something, I bet.

I let her take her bath then handed her the phone to speak to her father.

Risky move, sure, but it was necessary.

The last thing I needed was to have her dad file a missing persons report in Boston and get people looking.

Meghan was still staring at the phone instead of picking it up. "Go ahead, call your father," I ordered again.

"Wha...why?" she hesitated.

"Tell him, you are back in Boston but you moved in with your fiancee," I said. I was starting to feel a bit annoyed. What was so hard to understand for her? "Don't say anything you'll regret," I added.

"I...I don't remember his number," she said.

I smirked and signaled Bronson to hand me her phone. I took it away from her before we boarded the plane and only let her use it to call her mother.

"Here. Call him from this and give it back to me," I said. "There were a few misscalls from him alread
