As Much As You Do

Some red blood shots gathered in the center of his pupils, glowing with blood, thirsty red. He silently withdrew his gaze to her daughter's face and kissed her hair for a long moment, he couldn't help but be filled with a sense of relief. He could by no means bring himself to imagine what would be of him if by chance he hadn't found Daniella. “Ella?” that was Mandy's voice from outside, she paced into the room, passing through the torn-down door. Daniella disengaged from her dad's embrace and quickly went into her friend's arms, weeping silently. She seemed particularly pitiful, like a porcelain doll that was about to break apart at any time. “It's okay now, your dad is here” Mandy reassured, stroking her back tenderly and glaring at the guy. “Go ahead and wait for me in the car, girls. I'll be back in a jiffy” Liam instructed with a small smile on his lips. Daniella heaved up her head from Mandy's chest at once, looking up at her dad's face, “Dad,” she called out softly, “I'll be bac
