We stared at Simon in anticipation, my heart almost jumping out of my chest. Had they discovered Bobby’s identity? Had he done something else? Time seemed to stand still as I stared at him, terrified, unable even to breathe.

“I just wanted to say I’m heading home, and since I don’t know if I’ll survive this woman, I’m letting you know. If I don’t show up tomorrow, search for my dehydrated body with too much pleasure.” Simon said, his first words serious before laughing, and I finally exhaled in relief. Jayden, noticing my distress, huffed irritably.

“Get out of here, you fool! Go have sex and leave me alone! By the way, where’s Maryna? Did you leave her alone?” Jayden asked, worried.

Simon’s eyes widened as if he just realized what he had done, and before he could respond, we heard a loud scream echoing down the hallway.

“Help! Someone help me!” A female voice pleaded.
