Chapter 5

Arthur’s POV

Gabriel isn’t exactly wrong. Bella knows how much he does for her family and so she always tries her best not to provoke Gabriel so his family doesn’t end up suffering alongside her.

“When I ask a question, I need you to be vocal. I’m gonna ask you again, I hope you know that your soul belongs to me and your life is in my hands?”

“Yes, I know that and I'm sorry for staying out without telling you. I—I won’t o do it again:” Bella says, her tears finally falling on her face and she stares at her husband’s eyes, searching for sympathy but it’s just an icy cold look she gets.

Gabriel briefly pushes her off, releasing his hold on her top loosening and he adjusts his own shirt.

“My friends are coming over tonight, make sure the housekeepers handle everything before I get home with my friends. Take a shower, you smell like alcohol.”

“Okay, I will” Bella says in a small voice, walking away while wiping her tears and this is why she hates coming home.

She’s always treated like trash and just last night, another man made her feel so much better and special.

Cleaning her up and kissing her before she slept off.

She was called names of endearment that Gabriel has never called her by a stranger and that at least makes her smile.

She remembers the man’s face, the way he smells, the way he smiles, his evil smirk, the way he’s able to hold her up for minutes without faltering. She wonders how strong he is.

She finds himself smiling amidst tears and she makes her way upstairs and into her room.

Bella gets into the shower immediately, sighing in relief when the warm water hits her skin.

She keeps thinking about her encounter with the stranger in the shower. An electrifying thrill runs through her as she recalls their sex, and how different it was from what she usually goes for in her last relationships. How the stranger took what he wanted from her, spanking her, fucking her onto his cock without any mercy.

They did things in a matter of minutes that Bella never thought she’d ever do in her entire life:

It kind of startles her how much she liked it. What happened to her love for vanilla sex? She’s never wanted anything else, so it’s a bit jarring to find out she might like something so new and dirty. Bella figures it might be something he and the stranger have to explore together, this dirty, filthy side of their sex life.

She doesn’t even feel bad for cheating on her husband, the man can go die if he wants. Bella will try not to care about Gabriel and his feelings anymore, he doesn’t care about hers anyways.

Bella decides to take a nap because she’s exhausted, tired and her eyes feel heavy and once she falls on her bed, she’s asleep.

*********

Bella naps the whole afternoon and she only wakes up when one of the housekeepers woke her up, announcing that it was already almost nine pm and she needed to shower because Gabriel was on his way back.

God—that name, she hates hearing that name.

No matter how sexy and handsome her husband was, his personality didn’t compliment his looks.

She did take a quick shower, putting on a baby blue sweater that showed off one side of her shoulder and then small shorts underneath the sweater since it rode down to her thighs.

Gabriel loves it when she dresses all pretty and cute whenever he is bringing people home and then he gets showered with compliments about how gorgeous his wife, Bella, was.

Bella hears voices downstairs and she looks at herself through the mirror, satisfied with how she looks and she just brushes her curled hair back and starts walking downstairs in her tiny flip flops.

She walks down the stairs and all the men turn to her, taking in the sight of her pretty milky skin, her exposed thighs and one guy whispers something to another and they both grin.

Bella thinks he saw maybe lust? in Gabriel’s eyes and he gulped, he definitely did but it disappears immediately and she thinks she might have imagined it.

Bella doesn’t care to get their names because she doesn’t think she’ll be too aquantainted with them since they’re all her husband’s friends.

“Guys, this is my wife, Bella.” Gabriel introduces the smaller woman to his friends, his hand around her waist and Bella has the urge not to lean to his side.

“That’s one pretty wife you’ve got, Gabriel.” One of the men says and she doesn’t miss how they’re all good looking.

Gabriel sits and his friends sit across from him, on a couch, drinking.

Gabriel pulls Bella on his lap, his hand still on her waist as he communicates with his friends.

On a normal day, Bella would’ve preened on the attention Gabriel was giving her but she knows the man is just doing it for a show.

“Bella, that’s your name, right?” One of Gabriel’s friends asks and Bella nods at him, turning away from how shy she’s getting due to all the attention on her.

“You’re answering Bella but you look so sinful.” The guy comments and his friends agree while hollering.

“Hey guys, sorry I'm late. The traffic is terrible out there.” Another guy’s voice comes from the door and Bella’s ears perk up at the familiar voice.

She knows she’s heard the voice somewhere and she doesn’t miss how the voice sends goosebumps all over her body. A shiver at the base of her spine and the urge to whimper at the deep, low voice.

She dreads turning to the voice, scared of who she’ll see but she turns and her face falls, lips parted in a surprised gasp as she stares at the man who in return doesn’t seem surprised to see her, rather he’s smirking at Bella.

It’s the man, the gorgeous stranger she slept with last night.

What is the man doing in her husband’s house?.
